Should I Steam My Wedding Gown Before Or After Pictures?

Vicky from Mountain Brook, Alabama asked me recently whether she should have her wedding gown steamed before or after her pictures.

I told her that she most likely would want it to look just right-wrinkle free-before her wedding so I believe that is the most desirable time to be sure it's perfect.

However, who would want wrinkles to be preserved in their wedding photos?  So she may want it done before her pictures, as well.  It just all depends on the condition of the wedding gown at the time.

This is why we include a pressing or steaming (often both techniques are required) before your pictures and again before your wedding whenever you purchase a wedding gown cleaning and preservation before your wedding.
